Their liquor control board is the nation’s single largest purchaser of wine and they want their citizens to purchase from them. They prevent direct shipping and hand out big fines for those who try to get around the law. Needless to say the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board has a lot of power over wine sales. That have used their clout and deep pockets to develop the newest outlet for wine sales, Kiosks. These are not your standard vending machines. They can provide pairing advice, tasting notes and more.
